THE STORY / THE SHIRT

A funny drag racing T-shirt for expensive horsepower and the pursuit of another hundredth. Give it to the racer who talks about the time slip first and the engine, transmission and tire budget later.

The time slip keeps getting shorter. The parts bill doesn’t.

Engines, transmissions, tires, fuel. Then the trailer, the spare parts, and the thing you swore you wouldn’t need this season. All that money, all those late nights, and somehow another hundredth still sounds like a bargain. This drag racing T-shirt is for the racer who knows exactly what a quicker pass costs—and would rather talk about the time slip than the receipts.

The shirt

A soft, lightweight Bella+Canvas 3001 for long days at the strip and the drive home. The Black garment is 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, with a 4.2 oz/yd² fabric, crew neck, side seams, and a tear-away label.

Chest width is across the garment, not body circumference. Body length is measured from the high point of the shoulder. These are nominal dimensions; individual garments can vary. View the manufacturer’s measurement chart.

Machine wash cold (up to 30°C/90°F). Use non-chlorine bleach only when needed; tumble dry low. Iron on medium heat and avoid ironing directly over the print. Do not dry clean.
