Our story

Why 660 Feet Means More Than a Distance

An eighth-mile is 660 feet. The people, preparation and small-track weekends around it are why that number became our name.

An eighth-mile is 660 feet. On a map, that is a short distance. At the track, it can hold a week of preparation, a family argument about the weather and a very serious discussion about who forgot the chairs.

That is the territory 660' Apparel comes from: drag racing, small tracks and the people who keep turning up. The number is a nod to the strip. The brand is about the life around it.

The run is short. The work is not.

Race day starts well before a car reaches the line. There is loading, checking, driving, unloading and checking the thing you already checked because someone asked. Sometimes the best improvement is a small one. Sometimes the useful lesson comes from a pass you would rather not discuss until after dinner.

From the grandstand, a race can look like a few seconds of noise. From the pits, it is part of a much longer story: borrowed tools, careful adjustments, friends keeping an eye on the car and people making time for something they love.

There is more than one way to belong at a track

You do not need a fast car, a trailer or an impressive answer to “what does it run?” to have a place here. Watching, helping, learning and showing up all count. So does being the person who makes sure everyone actually eats.

Racing families do not always fit neatly into a team photo. There are grandparents, partners, kids, friends and the neighbor who came once and now has strong opinions about the setup. That mix is part of why our racing-family designs sit alongside racing logos, hot rods and shop-inspired artwork.

What we put on a shirt

We want the artwork to feel familiar to someone who spends time around this world. A Christmas Tree. A car. A line that gets a nod across the pits. A family name that says exactly whose cheering section you belong to.

Different people will want different designs. The shared thread is simple: clothes that carry a bit of track life into an ordinary day. We are not claiming a T-shirt will fix your reaction time. If it did, tech inspection would get complicated.

What you can expect from us

660' Apparel is a small brand built around a real interest in racing. Our products are made to order, and garment models can differ between designs. That is why we name the garment on each product and provide model-specific measurements instead of asking every customer to trust one generic size chart.

Before ordering, compare those measurements with a garment you already like. Check the selected color and size, and allow for production as well as shipping. If you need something for a particular race weekend, ask before counting on an arrival date.
